What is LinkCrumbs?
LinkCrumbs turns any long URL into a short, branded link with a built-in QR code and live visit analytics. You paste a destination, pick a slug (or let us generate one), and share the short link or download the QR for print.
How do I create a link?
Go to Links → Create link. Paste your destination URL, optionally name it, and pick a custom ending. Your QR code is generated automatically.
How do I download my QR code?
On the Links page, every row has PNG and SVG buttons in the QR column. The Link Detail page has the same buttons in the action row. PNG is best for digital. SVG is best for print at any size.
Can I change the destination after sharing the link?
Yes — that's the whole point of a short link. Open the link, click Edit, and change the destination URL. The short link and QR code stay the same.
What does pausing a link do?
A paused link returns a "not found" page to anyone who opens it. Visit history is preserved. Resume it any time to restore redirects.
How does link expiry work?
Set an expiry date when creating or editing. After that time, anyone who opens the link sees an "expired" page instead of being redirected. You can clear the expiry from the Edit screen.
What analytics do I get?
Every visit logs the country, device, browser, and referrer (no personal data, IPs are salted-hashed). The Overview page shows trends across all your links. Open any link to see its breakdown.
How many links can I create on the Free plan?
Free plans get 15 active links. Delete an old link to free up a slot, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited links and longer analytics retention.
How do I change my username?
Go to Settings. Note that changing your username breaks any short links and QR codes you've already shared — those URLs include your username.
How do I export my links?
On the Links page, click Export. You'll get a CSV of every link with name, slug, short URL, destination, status, visit count, and creation date.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings has an account deletion option. This permanently removes your profile, workspace, links, and visit history. Anyone holding your QR codes will see "not found" after deletion.
