- Authentication information (Google or Magic Link)
- The links and QR codes you create
- Optional notes or content you add to your links
When someone visits one of your links, we collect:
- Date and time of visit
- Country or approximate location
- Device type
- Browser
- Referring website
- A salted hash of the visitor's IP address — used only for unique-visitor counts. We never store raw IP addresses.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain LinkCrumbs
- Authenticate your account
- Generate QR codes and smart links
- Display analytics
- Improve the service
- Send important account or service emails
We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics Data
LinkCrumbs provides analytics for your links.
This may include:
- Total visits
- Unique visitors
- Countries
- Devices
- Referrers
- Visits over time
Analytics are intended to help you understand how your links are performing.
Third-Party Services
LinkCrumbs uses trusted third-party providers to operate the service.
These may include:
- Supabase — Authentication and Database
- Vercel — Hosting
- Cloudflare — DNS and Security
- Resend — Transactional Emails
- Google — Authentication Services
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information.
However, no online service can guarantee complete security, and you use LinkCrumbs at your own risk.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and analytics data while your account is active or as necessary to operate the service.
You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your profile, workspace, links, and visit history are removed.
Children's Privacy
LinkCrumbs is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@linkcrumbs.com and we will promptly delete the account and any associated data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
